Vintage Portuguese Small Folk Art Embroidered Apron with Pockets

Vintage small black cotton apron hand embroidered with bright flowers leaves and vines. These items are sold as souvenirs in Portugal. The embroidery is hand done, and knots are hidden inside the double layer design. I LOVE the deep pockets!

Style: Half apron, two layers with attached wide ties in same black crisp (starched) cotton linen. The apron has deep pockets, and a nice rounded shape, flattering lines. Rick rack trim around the edges.

Size: Child or small adult. Dimensions: Full width of top including both ties and front panel at top: 55 inches. Top to bottom measurement: 17.5 inches. Widest part of apron measures 21 inches.

Condition: Not used, Not washed. Color is very bright, no pulled threads. Three small white marks, two on back of apron and one very small on one tie. I believe these will wash out, or wipe out with a damp cloth. One top corner of apron has a bit of overage material that was not trimmed or tucked in when being sewn. See last two photos for details.
