Stylish and chic vintage hat by Henry Pollak Inc. This cloche style hat is made of wool felt with a shiny satin scalloped base trim, matching satin ribbon trim with bow in front, and black eye veil netting.

Color: Black.

Size: Inside circumference: approximately 21 inches. Hat Height: 5 1/2 inches, 9 inches wide at base.

Manufacturer: Stamp reads "100% WOOL GLENOVER HENRY POLLACK NEW YORK. Stiched label inside hat band (grosgrain ribbon) reads: Union Made in USA.

Who was Henry Pollack? Quoted from www.hattin-around.com: "Henry Pollak Inc. was incorporated in N.Y. in 1917 from where they imported hat bodies and braids from around the world. The raw hat bodies were sold to milliners and Henry Pollak Inc. were never designers or producers of finished hats. The company was dissolved in 1990."

Condition: Great vintage condition and color. Satin is shiny & bright. There are some fade marks on the wool felt along the fold lines and a few broken strands on the veil. No moth holes. See photos for details.
