A lovely handbag with slim shape and elegant clasp detail featuring black and clear rhinestones and a crisp bow. This black silk faille evening purse has a silk lining is a creamy beige pink color with a side slit pocket inside.

Inside lining is stamped: "L & M" "A Spot-Lite REG Exclusive Made in USA"

The Lowy & Mund Company of New York designed fabric handbags from the 1940s to 1960s. They had two labels: L & M Spot-Lite REG Exclusives and Edwards Originals. They had showrooms in Chicago and Los Angeles also. Their motto was "On more arms at all times". The type of clasp featured was described as an "antique finished clasp" in the advertising material.

Condition:
Exterior: Very Good with only slight wear on each top outer edge where silk has slight fraying. A few tiny water marks on front. Interior: Good with a few small rust spots. Clasp: Excellent Condition.
Bow: Excellent Condition. Color: Very Good.

Size:
Across top: 7 Inches. Across bottom: almost 8 3/4 inches. Thickness: 1 inch.

This item will ship in a new poly bag, in bubble wrap, in a bubble mailer, with a silica get desiccant.
